Daily Mirror reported recently that the rape victim would receive 1 million if she shows up but Angela DePaul said that they never pay for interviews.
Oprah indeed expressed her desire to be the first to interview Dugard. To Samantha Harris of The Insider, she put stresses in the words “I want that interview”. Already securing Whitney Houston to be her season opener, Oprah said that it didn’t matter compared to this Dugard case. “This is the one that I want,” she added.
