County Supervisor’s Wife and Daughter Accused of Sexually Abusing Boy

“County Supervisor [Arizona] Fulton Brock’s daughter has been arrested and accused of molesting the same boy her mother is charged with sexually abusing over a three-year period.

Rachel Katherine Brock, 21, daughter of Fulton and Susan Brock, faces three counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one of furnishing obscene materials to a minor. The charges are related to incidents that began when the boy was 14 and she was 18, according to court papers.

Susan Brock, 48, faces 15 child-abuse counts for allegedly abusing the same boy starting when he was 13 years old and she was 45, the court documents report. Mother and daughter are both being held without bond.”

Authorities say Rachel Brock had some kind of sexual contact with the young teen on a trip to California when he was 13, in her car in Chandler, and in a bathroom at some property owned by the Brocks. She has also been accused of sending nude photographs and a sexually explicit videotape of herself to the boy.

Police say the mother and daughter did not know about each other’s sexual abuse of the teen.

The mother, Susan Brock, is being accused of sexually abusing the boy when he was 13 and that she continued the acts for three years.

The boy, now 17, told police that Susan Brock used to pick him up after school, take him to secluded areas, and then molest him. Police say there was no intercourse.

County Supervisor Brock, filed for divorce soon after his wife’s arrest, and stated that he supports his daughter.

“I have filed to divorce my wife,” he said. “I cannot divorce my daughter. She is my blood. I will always be her dad. And she needs one now more than ever. Nothing can ever make this situation right other than raising awareness so other families can avoid such sorrow. As a person of faith I ask for your continued prayers.”

In your opinion, Alethea, why is it worse when a woman abuses children or when a woman abuses another female child or teen? I’ve read some posts of yours over the last few months that appear to express the opinion that when a man abuses another male child or adolescent, this is worse (for the victim) than if the man had abused a female child. If this is true to you, can you tell me why? Does it have to do with the victim feeling more shame perhaps? Thanks you.

Hi Serieve. I am working on an entire post to answer this because I think it is a very important question. I might even incorporate some of my manuscript into the post.

I glad they are showing that women also abuse minors. Too often people think its only a ‘man’ thing and that all pedophiles are men, but that’s a myth!

My Blog has concentrated, many times, on the number of women who sexually abuse children and teens, and how serious this affects children, and how it can be much worse when a woman does it.
