So I’ve been waiting for someone in the news media to report about Keith Brown’s wife, the mother of the girls who were sexually assaulted by their father when they were children. I want to know what she has to say about living in the home with her husband and daughters when they were being sodomized by him. Certainly a mother would have suspected something was wrong with her children. The girls are now ages 32, 30, and 26. The sodomy and molestation occurred on many separate occasions between November 1990 and March of 1998. The charges indicated that the girls were younger than 14 at the time. This means that the victims could have been as young as five at the time of the sexual assaults.
Fifty-four year-old Lisa Brown (standing next to the sodomizer above), was with her husband when their car flew over a cliff. They had been out to dinner that night. This was shortly after the charges had been filed against her husband. She was not with her children having dinner, consoling them, or standing by their side. No, she was out to dinner with the child sexual perpetrator, a child sodomizer. So something tells me that she knew what was happening in the home while her daughters were being sexually brutalized by their father.
Why is this not being widely publicized and discussed in the media? The mothers who stay with these violent child sexual abusers are just as sick as the perpetrator. The emotional damage done by a mother who turns her head to her child’s pain, is often just as devastating to the victim as what the rapist does. Why is Lisa Brown not being investigated for child endangerment? Is it because she dresses nice and looks like a “good mother?”
