Woman Sentenced To 18 Years For Allowing Former Boyfriend To Rape Seven Year-Old Instead of Having Sex With Him Herself

“An Aurora woman was sentenced today to 18 years in prison for allowing her former boyfriend to sexually abuse a child under her care, DuPage County officials said.

Christina Sykora, 40, of Crestwood Court in the west suburb, was sentenced today by DuPage County Judge George Bakalis, according to DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert B. Berlin.

Sykora was convicted of permitting her former boyfriend, Sabino Martinez, to sexually abuse the girl who was in her care. Sykora pleaded guilty today to one count of permitting the sexual abuse of a child, a felony.

On at least one occasion, Sykora offered the girl to Martinez for sex instead of herself and watched while the abuse took place, Berlin said in a press release.

Martinez was sentenced on Aug. 2 to 18 years in state prison after pleading guilty to predatory criminal sexual abuse of a child. He must register as a sex offender for life, Berlin said. The abuse of the girl took place from early 2003 through December 2006, Berlin said.

“Cases involving child abuse are never easy,” Berlin said. “This case however, is one of the most disturbing cases to come through my office in recent times. Words cannot describe the physical and emotional pain that this poor child endured caused by the complete betrayal of a trusted relative. My heart goes out to her.”

Sykora will be required to serve at least 50 percent of her prison sentence before being eligible for parole, Berlin said.”

Justice served.

I saw a photo of Christina Sykora. She looks like an angry bully and has masculine demeanor.

I would not like to run into her on a dark road at night. The thought of her in jail is comforting after what she did to that little child. I would love to thank the judge for locking up her and her assistant.

Finally, some justice for these small victims. It bothers me when they can’t prosecute the perps.

She did look horrible didn’t she? There are a lot of humans that look that way these days. I always wonder what has happened to make them look like monsters. Is it the genetically engineered “food,” the fast food gluttony, the hormones in food, the lack of love in their lives and in their soul? Maybe all combined.
