Marc Klaas Wants To Know: “Did Josh murder his wife because she caught him having sex with one or both of their young sons?”

Three cheers to Marc Klaas, father of Polly Klaas, who was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and murdered in 1993.

Marc has the guts to ask the hard questions –the questions that are too uncomfortable for most of society.

I bet he’s on to something.

I think Marc Klaas is on to something significant here.If he had familial incest animations on his computer that is a glaring red flag.He may have, indeed, killed his wife because she caught him in the act.I don’t believe he murdered his children because he could not live w/o them-he killed them because they were verbalizing what actually happened to their mother, and if they remembered that what else would they start talking about.I’m with Marc 100% on this one.

The more I think about it Pamela, the more I think Marc Klaas is right.

As sick as Josh Powell proved himself to be, I wouldn’t put it past him to have molested the boys, while Susan was subdued, making her watch helplessly, before he killed her as a last act of evil violation against her.

“Josh was protecting his boys when he killed them”

Alina can’t say, “Josh was murdering his boys when he hacked them with a hatchet then burned them in an inferrno.”

If Alina has any children in her care, please get them away from her ASAP! They are not safe with her.

I agree Little Nel. How sick is it that a woman would consider it “protecting” those little boys to take a hatchet to them, terrorize and betray them.

I believe this is exactly what happened. Josh was more comfortable with his perverted sex than sex with his wife.

Marc Klaas is beginning to redeem himself in my estimation.

Why did Josh kill his sister’s hamster? Was it because he wanted to teach his sister that opposing or confronting him will result in violence or death?

What did Terrica say to cause Josh to threaten her with a knife? Did Terrica confront him? Was Josh trying to drive home a point?

Susan worked outside the home while Josh stayed home with the boys. She suspected something or was aware of something sinister going on while she was away and confronted Josh. Confrontation pisses him off.

She was the only obstacle standing between him and their boys. She had to die because violence made Josh feel “in control” of his family.

Josh was a man who is sneaky, secretive, insecure, and violent. I am not surprised that his brand of revenge was to kill his sons in an effort to get the last evil laugh in this drama.

I think that all Susan had to do was confront Josh with something that he was compelled to deny, like a secret sexual behavior, and she would have made his death list.

Hi Little Nel. From what I have read, his mother said he pulled a knife on her when she had asked him to help with the dishes. When she confronted him, Josh told her not to push it. My first thought was Josh having anger over his mother asking him to help her, when maybe she did not help him (from an abuser).

But if Josh’s father, who is sitting in jail on child porn charges, did do something to Josh as a child, I hope he is reflecting on what any action he possibly did, has ultimately done to those innocent little boys.

        I agree, Alethea.

I still want to deny that my family is protecting an abuser because I want to blame someone who is not as strong and scary as the offender. The most powerful thing on this planet is a testosterone charged male.

Steve Powell is responsible for the destruction, denial, and fear in his family. The buck stops with him.

Josh’s mother had no backbone. She just kept “wishing” that things were different while the children suffered.

It was too late when Josh threatened her with a knife. Yes, he believed that she failed to protect him. The oldest son usually takes the brunt of the abuse and then identifies with the abuser later.

“It was the woman you gave me, God! She gave me the fruit and I ate” paraphrasing the first man, Adam, when confronted by God, after God found him hiding in the garden.
