Life in Prison for Father Who Was Performing Sex Acts On Infant Daughter

Finally, a church group takes action to stop child sexual abuse. More often than not, fellow church members protect the abuser by saying the perpetrator just needs ‘support and forgiveness.’ I wonder if the acts would have been disclosed if they had taken place before the Sandusky case went public?

I guess one good thing came out of the Sandusky case; more people are now going to report child sexual abuse.

“FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A North Texas man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for performing sex acts on his 3-month-old daughter.

A Tarrant County jury Wednesday deliberated 45 minutes before deciding on the maximum sentence for the 40-year-old man. A day earlier, the same jury convicted him of four counts of aggravated sexual assault on a child under 6.

The Associated Press has withheld the man’s name to protect the victim’s identity.

Evidence showed the man was addicted to pornography and had been working with his church to resolve his addiction. Evidence showed he performed deviant sex acts on his infant daughter, including taking photos.

During the punishment phase of his trial, evidence showed he also performed sex acts on his then-infant son.

The man told his church what he was doing and child welfare authorities were notified, leading to his arrest.”

If this man had not been reported and prosecuted that little baby girl would have died at the torturous hands of this sick rapist.

Children need protection from monsters like this. Let the monster like this father find support and forgiveness in the prison system.

Although this quote is well-intended by the person who originally said it, I have always considered it in error because “good” people always do something.

Little Nel, I am so happy this man can’t harm babies anymore.

Thanks for posting. I always appreciate your comments.

I found this quote in my notes just now; I think it might be what you and I both feel Little Nel:

“Our lives begin to end the day we are silent about things that matter.” MLK Jr.

          Wow! great quote!

I just read a story about a boy who was raped and two weeks later his rapist tied him to a tree, put flammable liquid on him and set him ablaze on his eighth birthday.

The 13 year-old rapist wanted to be sure that his victim would keep silent and not tell anyone about the rape.

The boy lived but later died of secondary issues caused by being burned. His rapist is in jail for other sexual offenses, but now can be prosecuted for the death of his victim years later.

Christ… I really don’t understand how some adults can protect a degenerate like this and offer forgiveness and support not realizing that they are endangering little children. If children are the future, what kind of message do we send them when we allow them to be tortured, molested, and raped. I say, leave the forgiving of child molestors for GOD to do, but human beings living on earth are responsible for protecting our little ones from harm by THROWING THESE SICKOS IN JAIL and keeping them AWAY from kids.
